Charity Girl
I really enjoyed this book until about 10 pages before the ending. I kept wondering what was going to happen and how the ending was going to go down. The ending of this book is TERRIBLE! It like the author didn't know how to end it and just wrote the last 10 pages to tie thing up. Nothing happened. Plus it was so quick and depressing.
Urgh. It was just a let down to an other wise interesting story.

The White Tiger
I read this book in two days on our trip to the BWCA. I wasn't sure if I was going to get into it, but then I couldn't put it down. I found it totally fascinating. I loved the style. How it was written letter style over seven days. I learned a lot about current conditions in India and some of their old cultural traditions that I wasn't aware of. In a strange way it reminded me of A Confederacy of Dunces.. Indian style.

Prodigal Summer
I started out really liking this book and then about 3/4 of the way through I was just done with it. I lost all interest in the stories. I didn't care anymore. It was interesting at first, but then I just got bored with the story line. I can't say exactly why. I usually LOVE Kingsolver... but this one just didn't do it for me. Deanna's story was the most interesting, though I didn't like her character at all. She was too rough for me. Eh.. yea.

Wurthering Heights
I am so so behind on reading lately.
I however just finished reading Wurthering Heights last week. I had never read it before and thought I should give it a go. I had a love/hate relationship with it until the end and then it was just a hate relationship. I was so happy to be doing reading it! Urgh! I hated everyone. Not once single character did I actually like. They were all just egotistic and annoying. Glad to be done with that one.....

The Bright Forever
Okay.. so I am way behind here... a lot has been going on in the last few months... including getting married! Now that it's all over... time to get back to reading. Oh... and I got a Kindle.... which.... oh, man. I must say I love!
Anyhow, The Bright Forever.
You know, I don't even really have a lot to say here. I didn't really like this book. I kind of figured out what was going to happen... and in the end I was right. I was kind of hoping I wasn't right, but I was. That was disappointing. The writing was okay, but I couldn't sympathize with any of the characters. I didn't like any of them... but yet I finished the book even though I didn't want to. Maybe I wasn't supposed to like the characters? I am not really sure.
This book slightly reminded me of The Lovely Bones... which I didn't like.....
